After a quarter century of successful mailing list development including creating jury wheels of registered voters for the New York State Unified Courts, eMerges niche operating environment has become unmanageable.
eMerges recognizes that the functionality of the eMerges file has been decreasing in scope at an accelerating rate. The causes are beyond its reasonable control. Therefore eMerges has ceased acquiring and publishing government records. To be clear, an evolving confluence of - 1) changes in state and federal limitations 2) industry self-regulation 3) the proliferation of litigation 4) associated PII and Opt Out restrictions are increasingly casting doubt on eMerges ability to confidently provide data that remains permitted or not restricted for particular usage models. These changes are significantly eroding confidence in eMerges ability to ensure continuing compliance with complex laws and deceptively conflicting regulations.
